Adobe MAX 2007 [Day 1: Pre-keynote] Breakfast
Flex, Flex Events, MAX2007 October 2nd, 2007
I’m sorry for the delay in getting the snaps out today for the day. It was meeting up with new people all day long at MAX, and so …. anyways here goes. The morning began with a sumptuous breakfast, here are the snaps:

The pretty ladies are Sumi Lim (Developer Relations, EMEA) and Michele Turner (VP, Marketing). And the person in the middle is a Product Manager in the AIR team - I don’t remember his name.

John Koch (Asia Developer Relations manager), Me (Evangelist Asia Pacific) and Mrinal Wadhwa (SAP India, one of the key member of flex-india group).

That is pretty much the entire Adobe Consulting team. (You can see Matt Voerman, Peter Martin right in the back and middle).
Adobe MAX 2007 [Day 0] EOD: Halo 3 - Geeks kick ass!
Flex, Flex Events, MAX2007 October 1st, 2007
I didn’t have dinner coupons for the speaker (not speaking this time)/ community dinner (how can they forget me?) … so had to go out with friends for dinner.
The MAX after hours were play time with XBOX 360s and Nintendo Wiis in the After Hour Lounges, check out some snaps:

So what is common to Adobe DevNet and Indian Railways - both are critiqued by Amy Wong and Craig Goodman.

Adobe MAX 2007 [Day 0] EOD: Halo 3 - Geeks kick ass! After Hours Lounge its party time. Its TomJ (Tom Jordhal) from the ColdFusion team in the foreground.

Halo 3! Halo 3! - my first exposure to it. Michele wanted to know how to stop her boys from playing the game, while she was herself trying her hand at it.
Time to hit the bed… Another exciting day lined up for tomorrow!

Finally in the evening it was time for the Welcome Reception, along with the O’reilly Ignite events. Checkout the snaps here:
Sumi Lim, Craig Goodman and me - we were meeting after 5 months! The last time we were at a spa in Korea.

Here is the old gang: Tim Buntel, me, Mike Nimer, Ken Azuma (Tokyo usergroup) and Dean Harmon (check out his CF t-shirt)
Adobe MAX 2007 [Day 0] : Adobe Developer Support Lab and Simon Horwith
Events, Flex, Flex Events, MAX2007 October 1st, 2007
I caught Simon Horwith folding T-shirts at the Adobe Developer Support Lab, hmm… helping out in something for which Adobe staff gets paid he was doing it for fun. He says “This is what I do to support the community!” (Note: You can get an Adobe t-shirt if you fill the survey at the booth)
I also caught up with Dean Harmon and Jason Delmore from the ColdFusion team nearby, they had just registered - late comers! … i guess waking up on a Sunday morning takes some effort even if it is MAX!
Adobe MAX 2007 [Day 0] : Lunch
Flex October 1st, 2007
Time to hit lunch! Had a trouble with not having a lunch coupon, but it was fun watching the assembly line with with the organizers collected the lunch coupons from 4000+ people! The food wasn’t that great - maybe didn’t suit my Indian taste buds. But the environment was too cool. Checkout the pics:
